WELCOME TO FEBRUARY OUR MONTH OF DIVINE VISITATION

‘Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people’ (Luke 1:68).

I welcome you to February 2022, the year 2020 and 2021 was challenging globally and many people look forward to a new year free of worries and fears. However, the world is not going to get better. There will still be health, economic, political or physical challenges, and natural or manmade disasters. The nations of the world will come together to try to solve the problems but as they are solving some, more problems will rear up. In these precarious times, there are those who will succumb to the challenges; some people will struggle, some will just barely survive but there are those who will have supernatural presence and ride through the storms. There are also those who will be exploited by men and events; there are those who will be exterminated by the situation and there are those who will be strong and do exploits. This year, I want to challenge you to tap on supernatural grace and overcome life’s challenges by the divine visitation of God Almighty.

In order to have this divine visitation:

1. YOU MUST HAVE A GREAT SURGE OF POWER. In Luke 24:49, Jesus says, ‘And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high” and Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Power distinguishes the Christian; it emboldens you for your God-given task and strengthens your hands to do exploits. No Christian goes into the field of life without first being endued with power from on high. God’s power gives confidence and assurance. This power opens our mind to the sovereign, absolute and exceeding greatness of God. “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21).

2. YOU MUST HAVE PROPHETIC INSIGHT. Insight is the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of someone, something or a situation; it is the act or result of apprehending the inner nature of things or of seeing intuitively (Merriam Webster Online Dictionary). It is a terrible thing to be a child of God and not be able to see. You must have an inward visitation from God. You may never know everything that will happen to your life but you must have insight into the immediate out-workings of your life. Johann von Goethe, a German writer and statesman wrote, ‘There is nothing so terrible as activity without insight.’ A.W. Tozer wrote, ‘A prophet is one who knows his times and what God is trying to say to the people of his times… Learning will enable a man to pass judgment on our yesterdays, but it requires a gift of clear seeing to pass sentence on our own day.’ The Bible says of Daniel, ‘There is a man in your kingdom in whom is a spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father, illumination, insight and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him. And King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, your father the king, appointed him chief of the magicians, conjurers, Chaldeans and diviners’ (Daniel 5:11). Deep insight, borne out of an intimate relationship with God, singled Daniel out, in a foreign land and in difficult conditions. I pray the Lord will grant you great insight into your life and situations around you, and grant you revelational wisdom on what to do.

AMEN!!!!!!
